INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Foundation School of Embassy Church.
Aim:
To educate members on new creation realities, the Person of the Holy Spirit, Christian
doctrines/character, and to lay a strong foundation for a successful Christian life.

Scriptural Mandate:
“That we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” (Colossians 1:28)
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a
perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13)
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” (1
Peter 2:2)

CLASS 1: THE NEW CREATION
Learning Objectives
• Know your salvation and be confident in it.
• Understand the origin of sin and the reality of forgiveness.
• Grasp your identity as a child of God.
• Comprehend the reality of spirit, soul, and body.

1. The New Creation
• 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
• Ephesians 2:10 (AMP) – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for
good works…”
• Galatians 6:15 – “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision
means anything, but a new creation.”
• John 3:3-4 – “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Key Teaching:
You are not a refurbished sinner; you are a brand new being with the life of God in your
spirit.

2. Born of God
• John 1:12-13 – “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God…”
• Romans 10:9-10 – “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in
your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
• Titus 3:5 – “He saved us… by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the
Holy Ghost.”

3. The Origin of Sin

4. Salvation by Grace

5. Assurance of Salvation
